What is a rap duo video?
A rap duo video is a short clip in which two people from ordinary photos perform a rap side by side. The format exploded in September 2026 as the Hotel Lobby trend, also known as Migos AI or the AI rap duo trend: pairs dropped onto the orange COLORS set from Quavo and Takeoff’s performance of “Hotel Lobby”, one rapping into a single dangling mic, the other hyping.
Your duo can perform three kinds of audio: the Hotel Lobby track, a song you upload, or a fresh AI rap about a subject you type (120 characters at most), or about the two of you if the box stays empty. On the AI rap, Both rap is on and the pair trades lines. Switch it off, or use a track, and the left person is the front voice while the right one is the sidekick.

Can both people rap, or is one always the hype person?
Both can. On the AI rap, Both rap is on by default and the two trade lines. With it off, or with a track or your song, the left person leads and the right one hypes, like the original clip.
How much does a rap duo video cost, and is there a subscription?

Can we rap over our own song?
Yes, on Wan 3.0: choose Your song and upload a track; the front voice lip-syncs to 2 to 15 seconds of it. Use the AI rap when you have no song.
Which model should I pick?
Wan 3.0 is the default: it replays the Hotel Lobby routine with the trend track or yours, in 480p, 720p or 1080p. Seedance 2.0 Mini, 2.0 Fast, 2.0 and 2.5 add the AI rap, Both rap and the other sets, from 480p to 1080p.
One face came out a bit off. What helps?
Use a sharper, front-facing portrait of that person with even light and nothing covering the face. Each new take is a fresh attempt and costs its own credits.
