Custom Dance Moves for Hotel Lobby AI: Use Your Own Clip

Custom dance moves are one upload away: in Soundtrack & moves, choose Your clip and add a video. The two people from your portraits copy its moves, gestures and camera motion on the orange set or any other stage, and the clip’s own background disappears. The take is as long as the slice you use, 2 to 15 seconds; 10 seconds on Wan 3.0 at 480p cost 5 credits.

It is the way to stage your own version of the routine. Victoria Monét and Quavo did exactly that on October 1, 2026, filming the set themselves under the caption “No AI” (Revolt via Yahoo). A clip you shoot like that can drive the moves for any two portraits. No finished take from an uploaded clip is published here yet.

Who controls what in the take

  • Your two portraits decide who is on stage: faces, hair, outfits. They do not touch the choreography.
  • Your clip decides the choreography: moves, gestures, head turns, timing and camera motion. Its people and its background are swapped out.
  • The stage decides the set, from the orange wall to the other stages.
  • The sound decides what the lead mouths on Wan 3.0, or brings an AI verse on Seedance.

Film a reference clip the model can follow

  1. Put two people in frame, side by side, head to toe, facing the lens. The right performer in the take mirrors the second person in your clip.
  2. Prop the phone up or use a tripod. Pans, zooms and cuts get copied as well.
  3. Shoot at normal speed. Slow motion does not work.
  4. Keep the good part between 2 and 15 seconds. The file can run longer; you will choose the slice.
  5. Record straight from the phone camera as MP4 or MOV. Clips that are too heavy or too high in frame rate are converted in your browser.
  6. Use people who agreed to it. Faces from a reference clip can bleed into the result, which is also why clips of famous performers are a bad idea.

Loading the clip into the studio

  1. Add the two portraits. Go full length: with Your clip, the photos are not redrawn first.
  2. Tap Change on the sound row, pick Your clip under Moves and upload the video.
  3. If the clip runs longer than the take, slide the orange frame to the slice you want. The length buttons only show lengths your clip allows, each with its credits.
  4. Choose the audio (see the table below).
  5. Look at the format. Choosing Your clip switches it to Match clip, the shape nearest to your video.
  6. Tap Create video.
1: a 10-second clip of two AI-made dancers loaded as Your clip, with the lengths it allows and their credits. 2: the editor afterwards, set to 9:16 to match the clip, 5 credits for 10 seconds.

A slice that falls between two lengths is billed at the longer one. Stage and sound never change the price. Wan 3.0 takes are normally ready in about 5 to 15 minutes.

Honest limits of a reference clip

  • The model is instructed to copy moves, gestures, timing and camera. How faithfully it follows an uploaded clip has not been measured.
  • Cuts carry over. A clip that cuts every few seconds produces a take with the same cuts.
  • Faces from the clip can leak into the result. Film people who are happy to be in it.
  • A clip with only one dancer leaves the right performer with nobody to copy. That case has not been tried.
  • Your room never appears: the stage replaces the background.

Decide: built-in routine or your own

  • Stick with the built-in routine for the trend’s exact moves and look, when you only have face shots (the redraw fills in the body), or when you want the Hotel Lobby track in step with the moves.
  • Bring your own clip for a different dance, a skit or your spin on the routine, when you have full-length portraits of both people, or when the clip has its own audio or you have your own song.

FAQ

Can I film my sister and me dancing and put my grandparents’ faces on it?

Yes, with their consent. Upload the dance as Your clip (2 to 15 seconds are used) and add your grandparents’ portraits. They perform your moves on the stage you choose.

Will my kitchen show up behind them?

No. The stage replaces your background entirely; only the movement and the camera come from your clip.

My clip is 40 seconds long. Is that too long?

No. Any length uploads; you slide the orange frame over the 2 to 15 seconds you want to use.

Can I use a slow-motion clip?

No. Slow-motion footage does not work. Film at normal speed.

Does Your clip work with the AI rap?

Yes. Wan 3.0 takes Your clip on any stage, and the Seedance models take it together with an AI rap.

How much does a take from my own clip cost?

The same as any take of that length: 5 credits for 10 seconds on Wan 3.0 at 480p. Sound and stage do not change it.

Can I use a dance clip of a celebrity from TikTok?

Only footage you filmed or have the rights to. Clips of other people can also pull their faces into your take.
