Cut one: the dance
Your whole body in frame, canopy lights on, the pumps backlit by an orange sky.
Canopy lights, low sun
The gas station AI trend packs three sunset moments into seconds: a dance between the pumps, a grin into your phone, and a slow exit from a black luxury car. Hotel Lobby Video films all three from a single picture, or a picture of each person, for 4 credits a take.

The gas station AI trend is a sunset edit in three quick cuts filmed at a deserted fuel stop: you dancing on the forecourt, you grinning into a selfie, and you climbing out of a black luxury car. On Hotel Lobby Video, one picture (or a picture per person) is enough, because the Gas Station effect keeps the same faces in every cut and lays an original hip-hop beat under them. It runs on Seedance 2.0 Mini, costs 4 credits for a 5 second take at 720p, takes up to about 5 minutes according to our provider, and refunds itself if it fails.

The edit
Think of it as a tiny music video rather than one shot. First a dance across a deserted forecourt as the light turns orange behind the fuel pumps. Then a warm handheld selfie. Then a slow, cinematic exit from a black luxury car into the last of the sun. It spreads through CapCut templates and AI apps, and you will see it called the gas station dance trend or just the gas station AI video.
Hotel Lobby Video folds the whole edit into one effect. Behind the scenes the studio requests three hard cuts that share one cast, which is why a single picture covers the edit. When we rendered a 5 second take ourselves, all three cuts squeezed in, each very short. Pick a longer length from the video settings if you want every cut to breathe; the button shows the extra cost.
Three moves

Cut one shows you from head to shoes, so pick a picture that does too. For two people, a picture each or one shared.

This page sets Seedance 2.0 Mini, 720p, 5 seconds and 9:16. Change anything and the price follows.

Expect up to about 5 minutes. Save the MP4 or reopen it from My videos.
The three cuts

Your whole body in frame, canopy lights on, the pumps backlit by an orange sky.

A close, handheld shot of you grinning into your phone.

A slow tracking shot as you climb out of a black luxury car.

An original, upbeat hip-hop track with heavy bass and no vocals.
Some template versions drop a different person into each cut. This effect keeps the same people from your picture across all three, so a single picture works, or a picture per person if you want a duo on the forecourt.
For something slow and sung, there is the Raindance pier clip. For two people and a twist, the zombie hug filter. For a duet on one mic in front of an orange wall, the rap tab cuts a Hotel Lobby duet, and every scene is on photo to video effects.
Our own takes
Two sample renders, with model, length and source shown under each. They demonstrate the workflow, not a promise about how often a take succeeds.
