The COLORS-style room
The orange walls, the silver mic on its cord and the rap-and-react choreography come preloaded. No prompt to write, no template to download, no reference clip to dig up.
Recast the uncle-and-nephew set
A Quavo and Takeoff AI video restages the duo’s “Hotel Lobby” session from A COLORS SHOW with two new people sharing the single mic. Give Hotel Lobby Video a portrait of you and one of a friend: the left face carries the verse, the right face backs it up, on the same orange wall.
Your two faces
A single face per picture. Left leads, right backs up.

Hotel Lobby Video (hotel-lobby-video.app) turns two portraits into a Quavo Takeoff AI video. Put one photo in each slot and leave the default stage: the left person raps into the single mic, as in the COLORS original, while the right person plays backup on the beat. On Wan 3.0 a 12-second take at 480p costs 6 credits; credit packs start at 10 credits for $9.99, there is no subscription and no free preview, and most takes arrive in about 5 to 15 minutes. Everything happens in a phone browser.

The source session
Just one: the pair performing “Hotel Lobby” for A COLORS SHOW in a bare orange room, a single microphone dangling between them. They had released the song in 2022 under the duo name Unc & Phew. In September 2026 people started recasting that room with cats, grandparents, couples and cartoon characters, and the remakes flooded TikTok, Reels and X.
A remake keeps the parts that make the clip readable at a glance: the orange wall, the lone mic, one voice rapping and one voice reacting. What changes is the cast. In a Hotel Lobby Video take the two people come from your portraits, and the choreography comes from a reference performed by two AI stand-ins rather than from footage of the artists. Nobody’s voice is cloned.
If you are new to the trend, start with two people who have an obvious dynamic: a quiet aunt and a loud niece, two coworkers who never stop bickering, a groom and his best man. The contrast between the person who raps and the person who reacts is what makes the clip funny.
If you remember the song, you probably say Hotel Lobby AI. If you remember the group, it is Migos AI. If you remember the two faces, you search for the rappers by name. All three mean this orange-wall remake. See Migos AI and what Hotel Lobby AI means.
Takeoff was killed in Houston on November 1, 2022, and some fans have pushed back on the trend for reusing his likeness (Complex). Quavo has responded in public. Late in September 2026 he posted on X to remind people that he and his nephew made the original (HotNewHipHop). On October 1 he and Victoria Monét filmed the routine for real, with the caption “No AI” (Revolt).
When the Associated Press asked him on October 2 whether the clips cross a line, he described the trend as a sign from God after losing his nephew, said it felt like more than an internet moment, and said he cannot control who makes them (AP via WSOC-TV). If you share a take, mark it as AI, cast only people who agreed, and never pass it off as a real performance by the artists.
Session plan
A clear shot of each person, face visible, no sunglasses. The photos can be taken apart; a picture of the two of you together also works.
The left slot takes the verse at the single mic and the right slot reacts on the beat, the same split as the COLORS original. Want to trade parts? Swap the photos.
5, 8, 10, 12 or 15 seconds, in 16:9, 9:16, 1:1, 4:3 or 3:4; 9:16 suits TikTok and Reels. At 480p, 12 seconds is 6 credits, printed on the button first. The MP4 comes without a watermark.
In the studio
The orange walls, the silver mic on its cord and the rap-and-react choreography come preloaded. No prompt to write, no template to download, no reference clip to dig up.
The built-in track is the default. You can upload 2 to 15 seconds of your own song or voice memo, or choose AI rap on a Seedance model for a fresh verse on a subject you type.
Works in the browser on iPhone and Android. Pull the portraits from your camera roll, run the take and save the MP4. Nothing to install.
6 credits for 12 seconds at 480p; 720p and 1080p cost more. Packs start at 10 credits for $9.99, their credits do not expire, and failed takes are refunded automatically.
| Route | What you bring | Work involved |
|---|---|---|
| Hotel Lobby Video (this page) | A photo of each person | Least: the set and choreography are preloaded |
| A general-purpose AI video model | Two photos, a written prompt, often a reference video | Some: you write the prompt and retry |
| A CapCut template | An AI clip made somewhere else, lined up with the sound by hand | Most: manual editing on your phone |
Each route is walked through in the step-by-step guide. The story of the two rappers, uncle and nephew, is in the guides below.

These clips show the format. Other people made them with other tools, and each one is credited and linked to its post. They are not output from Hotel Lobby Video.
Hotel Lobby Video (hotel-lobby-video.app). Upload a portrait of each of you and it produces the orange-wall duet, one of you on the verse and one on the ad-libs. 12 seconds at 480p is 6 credits; there is no free preview.
Neither of you plays an artist; you play the two parts. The left portrait raps, the right portrait reacts, so put your best rapper on the left.
No. Each of you sends your own portrait and the studio stands you side by side. One shared photo also works if that is what you have.
That should not happen, because the routine is performed by two AI stand-ins rather than the artists. The details and our test results are on our page about keeping your own face.
No voice is cloned. The lead mouths the built-in track by default. Choose Your song and the audio is your upload; choose AI rap and the vocals are generated fresh.
You pay per take: 6 credits for 12 seconds at 480p, with packs from 10 credits for $9.99. No subscription is required, and a failed take is refunded automatically.
Open the page in Safari, upload the two photos and create. The take is usually ready in about 5 to 15 minutes. The download goes to the Files app; open it, tap Share, then Save Video to move it to Photos.
No. Hotel Lobby Video is independent and has no link to the artists, Takeoff’s estate, Migos, Quality Control Music, Motown or COLORS.
